As long as I can remember, I’ve been immersed in the natural world. Growing up on a farm, watching my grandmothers tend the earth, I appreciated at an early age how that which we sow will satisfy all our needs for nutrition and healing. For years, I collected book upon book about holistic healing, natural remedies, organic and whole food recipes and a myriad of other related topics. I’d thumb through them with great enthusiasm, bookmarking and ear tagging that which resonated with me deeply.
But, like many, as I grew older my interest waned and life happened. I still carried that spark of curiosity and would incorporate holistic health practices wherever and whenever I could. Now that I’m a grandmother and I see that more years are behind me than in front of me, it has struck me that now is the time to get back to my roots. This journey for me has been decades in the making, but one well worth the steps I’ve taken to get here.
With a business degree in international studies, a background and former instructorbusiness owner in Middle Eastern dance, and over thirty years of retail and management experience and a persistent drive and devotion to holistic health that never truly left, I am ready for the next and greatest chapter in my life. I have most of the tools I need to successfully operate my own practice and this is the next step in completing my purpose and realizing my dreams.
