Biography

Biography

My husband and I have served as missionaries in Mexico, blessed with five adult children and fifteen grandchildren. Our ministry has taken us across the globe—including Hawaii, India, Romania, Taiwan, and Japan—facilitating mental health conferences and training teachers in special education.

With a background in health care, I bring expertise in emergency and crisis services, along with professional experience in management, program development, policy-making, teaching, and counseling. My specialization includes cognitive, neurological, and clinical disorders, as well as marriage and family counseling. I am skilled in problem analysis, streamlining procedures, and creating innovative solutions.

We continue to serve at Rancho Santa Marta, a K–12 school (serving 270 children) and a home for 40 children in Mexico. There, I mentor a team of four Mexican psychologists, counsel children and families, assess cognitive learning impairments, and equip teachers and caregivers with educational resources.

In addition, I serve as a professor in both undergraduate and graduate programs at Southern California Seminary in El Cajon, CA, and Rhombus University in San Diego, CA.

Guided by the words of Matthew 6:33“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things that you lack will be added unto you”—I remain committed to serving others through ministry, education, and counseling.

I am also the author of Palace of the Pigs, which recounts the founding of Rancho Santa Marta and its ongoing mission in Mexico.
