| Biography |
A multidisciplinary artist of more than 15 years, and a passionate student of the mind and human experience. My journey with yoga began in 2016 while living in the creative district of Carbondale, Colorado, a community rich with art, movement, and inspiration. During that time, yoga became a powerful grounding force in my life, helping me navigate early motherhood, deepen my creativity, and cultivate a sense of inner steadiness. I recently earned my associate degree in psychology from Colorado Mountain College and I am continuing my studies at LSU, pursuing concentration in cognitive neuroscience. My growing understanding of the brain, behavior, and connection enhances my perspective on yoga’s capacity to support healing and personal transformation. My academic interests, artistic background, and lived experience all inform my approach to the practice. I see yoga as a meeting place between mind and body, creativity and science, intuition and understanding. Through teaching, I hope to offer others the same sense of presence, curiosity, and empowerment that yoga has brought to me.
Here at Scholistico, I am pursuing certificates in Art Therapy, Sound Therapy, and Holistic Health in hopes to deepen my education on wellness and strengthen my passion in yoga and art.
