Currently, I have 18 years experience in retail pharmacy and  two years working for mental health clients in long term pharmacy.

In the early 2000s, I volunteered as   a docent at an art museum, 

I led various elementary groups around the gallery. I always had an  activity reference to refer to, to discuss various paintings, and assist with group interaction. Open ended questions as well. I did this for three years.

When I turned 54, I decided to get a degree in a subject I loved.  I received my Bachelors of science in Art. My plan was to go to learn how to teach Art, however my plans changed. I was diagnosed with breast cancer right after receiving my degree. So I took a few years off of working full time and focused on my health and designing art! 

Now I’m 60 years young, and would love to pursue mental health by practicing Art therapy. I believe i am able to work with people legitimately, but not exactly sure  how I can do this without the traditional ART-BC behind my name. I Guess we will all learn together!
