Biography
| Biography | I currently work with at-risk youth within the Department of Youth Corrections, Where I focus on supporting youth people in making meaningful, long-term life changes. My work centers on helping youth develop practical life skills, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with their sense of identity and purpose. Through trauma-informed approaches, I guide them in moving through and beyond past experiences so they can recognize their strengths, find ownership, make empowered choices, and become the best versions of themselves. I am also a somatic and bodywork therapist. As a somatic therapist, I guide individuals back to the wisdom of their own bodies as a pathway to healing, balance, and self-trust. I am also a somatic and bodywork therapist. As a somatic therapist, I guide individuals back to the wisdom of their own bodies as a pathway to healing, balance, and self-trust. My work is rooted in the understanding that the body holds our stories, our trauma, and our innate capacity to heal. Through gentle, body-centered practices, I support clients in releasing stored tension, reconnecting with their nervous system, and cultivating a deeper sense of presence and resilience. Central to my approach is the belief that true healing requires both compassion and accountability. I empower clients to take an active role in their growth, developing awareness, responsibility, and sustainable practices that support long-term well-being. Healing is not something done to you; it is something awakened within you. My practice is also informed by the traditions and teachings of the Lakota people, honoring their deep understanding of interconnectedness, respect for the body as sacred, and the importance of living in right relationship—with ourselves, our communities, and the natural world. With humility and reverence, I integrate these principles in ways that emphasize balance, harmony, and holistic care. This is a space for grounded transformation—where ancient wisdom and modern somatic practice meet to support embodied healing, personal responsibility, and meaningful change. I strive to learn and grow daily, taking on new challenges, and expanding my knowledge. |
