I am a self-taught artist who received 3 years of advanced art education in secondary school. I briefly owned and operated an art gallery  in Stevens Point, WI., in which I sold my own work.  I retired in June of 2020 after 20 years of employment with the Stevens Point school district as a licensed paraprofessional in special education, during which time I applied my art skills in the form of art therapy to behaviorally challenged students. I enjoyed the role that my talent filled in that capacity, thus I am interested in adding a certification in art therapy to my credentials.  Currently, I am employed ( since June of 2020) with Outschool as an independent, online drawing teacher for ages 8-18. Outschool is primarily a homeschool platform which reaches learners nationally and internationally. The company is based in San Francisco, CA.
