Art was always a part of my childhood as my Mother and maternal Grandfather were both accomplished artists. I was fortunate to grow up with a creative mindset learning and appreciating all mediums of art.  As I got older I continued to explore my passion while developing and redeveloping my own style.  I enjoy using many different mediums, and believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to an artists process.  I’m an East Coast gal, and the love of the coast has always inspired me.  The use of bright vibrant colors also adds to my creativity whether it is a landscape or portrait, you will always find me exploring with color!

My passion with my art other than my commissions and gallery showings is teaching and facilitating others through the process of painting.  I always hear from people “Oh I couldn’t do art”, but honestly, the feeling that I get when I show people how creative they really are is so exciting to me!  I have done painting classes, group social led paint evenings, and have worked with grieving parent groups and love seeing people lose themselves for just a bit in creative art.
