| Biography |
Rod Bergeron is a Canadian artist living in Baltimore, Ontario. A graduate of OCAD University (2015), he has built a sustained and active practice, exhibiting his work in over 100 shows and participating in a wide range of artist-run initiatives.
Alongside his studio work, Rod teaches multiple classes each week, where he focuses on helping students not only improve technically, but also understand how to see, think, and engage more deeply with their work. His approach to teaching is rooted in experience, clarity, and a belief that art should be accessible and meaningful.
Having spent years working within the realities of the art world, Rod’s perspective is grounded and practical. He is currently interested in expanding the intellectual side of his practice, exploring how art connects to culture, ideas, and lived experience, and how those insights can feed back into both his work and his teaching.
