The idea of Finca La Vida began on our very first holiday together, staying in a small B&B just outside Torrox. Perched high in the hills with sweeping views of the sea, we felt an immediate sense of peace and connection that was impossible to ignore. In that moment, we knew this was where we wanted to build our future.

At the time, both of us were facing challenges in our careers. The constant changes and pressures left us longing for something more meaningful, and it became clear that it was time for a change.

Leaving behind our home in Uckfield, where we had only lived for two years, wasn’t an easy decision. But we realized the cost of staying put – personally and professionally – outweighed the leap we needed to take.

With our three dogs by our side, we put our house on the market and embraced the unknown. After months of searching across Andalusia, we finally discovered Finca La Vida. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was right. The breathtaking surroundings, the quiet serenity, and the feeling of endless possibility made it clear: this was home.

Today, Finca La Vida is the heart of our new beginning. It represents peace, inspiration, and the freedom to live life on our own terms. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has been worth it.
