Biography |
Mother of 4 adult children, grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 1. I retired in 2015 from UCSD School of Medicine as a manager/supervisor. Afterwards, I pursued a career as a personal trainer.
When the Covid pandemic came in 2020, I found time to step into things I have always wanted to do when it came to arts, crafts, etc. on a daily basis. Learn new techniques by taking art classes.
It took me back to when I needed an outlet from a failed marriage that destroyed my family. When I took a class in watercolor in 2000, it helped me relax and enjoy the creative process. But I put my paints and brushes away to concentrate on my job at that time.
I am grateful for the fact that I was able to reconnect with painting again and engaging in other forms of art during that year. Staying at home gave me daily exercise to enhance my skills.
