Biography

Biography

Robin Perine is an internationally published photographer originally from Los Angeles, now rooted in the rolling horse country of Northern Virginia. She began her photography career in 1989 and achieved international publication by 1993, building a bold and influential body of work across the music industry, hot rod culture, fashion, pinups and burlesque. In the early 1990s, Robin broke new ground as the first female photographer in America to document the international tattoo community. Her imagery has appeared worldwide on magazine covers, album covers, and book jackets, leaving a lasting imprint on multiple creative industries.

In 2008, Robin began her Pilates practice, eventually earning her certification and transitioning into teaching full-time. She now works as a Pilates instructor in Northern Virginia, blending discipline, intuition, and body awareness to support strength, healing, and longevity.

Robin is also a sound therapy practitioner, drawing on decades of experience in the music industry to create immersive, restorative experiences through sound. She lives on a horse farm, where she serves as a caretaker for horses and maintains a deep connection to land, animals, and rhythm.

A multifaceted creator and healer, Robin is additionally a card reader, fire breather, and in 2017 became a living kidney donor to her father—an act that reflects her lifelong commitment to courage, service, and transformation.
