Stella M Lauria born in Buenos Aires, Argentina is a visual artist based in the United States. Her work embraces figurative painting and is currently focused on abstraction, exploring color, figure-ground, perceptual ambiguity, the mind, memory, and symbolism as archetypal languages of connection between the intimate and the universal. Her current projects integrate art and spirituality to create bridges between images and new forms of communication, inspired by neurodiverse perception. Indirectly, this path expands the experience of art toward self-knowledge and encounters with others: a way of integration, healing, and coherence.
