I was born in 1988 in Saskatchewan Canada. I went into environmental studies and graduated in 2008. I have never used that diploma, instead I have worked administrative for the last 11 years. My journey has led me down a path of natural living and using food and plants as medicine. Knowing that everything is connected and you need to find the root of the sickness in order to truly heal.

November 26, 3023 was the day my family’s lives changed forever. My husband became sick with influenza A and his lungs started bleeding heavily. He was intubated in our rural hospital where his heart stopped for 25 minutes. He was air lifted to the nearest ICU where we were told that he had a less than 10% chance of survival. He suffered multi organ failure and was air lifted to one of the only hospitals with CRRT dialysis in Saskatchewan. There he was in an induced coma for over 2 weeks and on total and complete life support. We were told he probably wouldn’t wake up, his heart wouldn’t beat on it’s own and he probably had brain damage. He defied all odds and woke up with no brain damage, no permanent heart damage and no lung damage. He was still in kidney failure. His feet and 7/10 digits were amputated and he willed his kidneys to heal enough to be off of dialysis. He is learning everything again and is the most amazing fighter ever. He is the reason I wanted to take this course, I want to help him continue to heal without pharmaceuticals, I also have 4 autoimmune disorders and want to help myself more.
