- By day: I work from home—no office commute, endless coffee, and yes, I’m legit remote in all 50 states working for a health insurance company in the Washington Market (remote jobs like this are surprisingly common).
- Most mornings: You’ll catch me sweating through strength training, aerobics, yoga, or barre classes (you know, the ballet‑meets‑Pilates regimen that makes your thighs talk back after class).
- Why Barre? Because nothing says “I’m committed to glutes” quite like isometric thigh shaking while holding a ballet barre for dear life.
🩺 The Diabetes Search & Rescue Mission
Having carried a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis for most of adulthood—including a full 275 lbs that I was absolutely holding onto like a long‑term pet—I’ve finally wrestled my A1c under control with real food, strategic movement, and more stubborn willpower than a toddler refusing nap time.
Now approaching retirement age (technically, but don’t hold me to it)—I’m channeling all that lived experience into doing for others what I did for myself. I want to help others reclaim their health. 🎯 🍏
