I get that as well. I just think of redoing and rereading as reviewing but when I’m ready to do the tests I re-read the notes or summaries and then do the test. I try to listen to the recording throughout the day knowing I won’t catch everything but it’s surprising how even when not paying close attention to every word you tend to pick up. I don’t think this method will solve your particular situation but it’s just another way so don’t beat yourself up.
