Thinking of the road we travel, each of us in our own space, separate yet together, traveling forward on a flat narrow strip of concrete. We know where we have been, and we have plans for where we are going, whether we arrive or not is not up to us. We venture forward, anyway, and do our best to stay on that narrow strip of concrete.
