I’m learning but…..figuring out this site is a bit stressful. I love seeing everyone’s posts. I would post but it won’t let me 😒. So I will just read what others say about what’s posted and comment when I can and hope this certification helps my career and self healing.

I am seeing the value of discipline through making time to apply thinking and research around the accompanying resource material, keeping organised (somewhat) and reminding myself regularly to weigh in with regular diary entries to help stay on track and develop good ‘academic habits’. And at other times pick up the art materials to play about and experimentally, weave into a connecting theme or technique to focus on and build ‘creative muscle’ .. aiming to understand and grow with new insights 🌿

It’s wonderful to hear how you’re balancing both the academic and creative aspects of your journey, Fiona! The discipline you’re developing through regular research, organization, and diary entries will certainly strengthen your academic habits. Equally, the time spent exploring art materials and focusing on creativity will nurture your growth in that area as well. This holistic approach is so valuable, and it’s inspiring to see you cultivate both sides of your learning with such dedication.

Keep up the great work, your insights will only continue to deepen!👏

Thank you for your supportive feedback, Sol, appreciated! 😊

I was wondering if you could point me to any specific resources to help the kind of information best suited to Mod 2 .. in particular, ‘how art can be used to exacerbate negative emotions & behaviours if used inappropriately’ – to reach into the contents I’d need to be able to provide a detailed example for?

I haven’t looked forward into the other modules as yet so perhaps I am missing other suggested content. Where do I find information about this please? 🤓

I enjoy learning and I am soaking up each module and every new thought like a sponge! I had no idea all the different creative directions our craft could be utilized in truly helping others. I am learning my way around the site slowly and am sure I’m missing discussions, but I found this one so there’s hope!

It’s so exciting to hear how much you’re enjoying the learning process and embracing every new discovery! It sounds like you’re uncovering so many possibilities for how creativity can support and uplift others, which is amazing. Don’t worry about missing discussions, take it at your own pace, and you’ll catch up in no time. I’m glad you found this one, and I’m sure there are many more insights waiting for you.

Keep soaking it all in, you’re doing great!🤩

So far, I have realized that I have ignored that all systems work together. I am anxious to learn all aspects of naturopathy and holistic healing.

I am in the middle of the course as my work is so busy, but now I am back and will try to expedite and complete the course.

It’s been very interesting and lots of amazing information and each time I log into a different topics, I just got very excited and complete it and do the quiz! I can’t wait to complete it, get my certification and start doing it for real!

And I must say that the homework of 2 different exercises in each module did slow down my completion as I was so into the research and find more answers to it!

What is your advice? Should we just study and do the quizzes and expedite the completion of the course or do all the homework as we go along?

    Thank you!

      Hello!

I also noticed that the homework slowed me down as well. With work and home life, things can get very busy so I try to keep it simple!. So, I decided to go through each module and complete each quiz first, and then go back to do the assignments. I did it this way so that I can really apply what I’ve learned throughout the course and to also go through the assignments as if I’m working with a client. If it’s an assignment that I can complete, such as journaling which I already do. Then I’ll do it. I also write out each summary, I know it’s a lot to write! lol.. but that’s how I learn. I listen, write, and re read. It worked for me in nursing school, so I’m going to apply that to this course! And it also gives you a chance to study on the go, or even make flash cards. Sorry for the long post! lol.. hope this helps!:)
