Experience points
Posted by Kelly on 6 September 2024 at 16h48I get many notifications throughout my day and I see so-and-so got 10 experience points, so-and-so got 40 experience points. What exactly are the experience points for? Can they be utilized for anything? How exactly are they earned? I’ve tried finding these answers with no luck.

From what I googled they help you progress and unlock new opportunities. Not sure what kind of opportunities though. Hope this helps.

Alright, I’ve been searching and this is what I have come up with. When trying to read this page part of the top is covered so I’m not sure why or what is under it. Hope this helps others.

This was really helpful!! Thanks so much for sharing the information. I was wondering, like all the others, what the experience points were all about. 🙂

I found it all explained here… not sure why we have to dig for this information, but it’s good to know: https://scholistico.com/gamification/

Also how do we know how many points we have. Where do we find them?

I have 25 experience. No further info. So if I got 10 from filling out my profile I’m not sure where the other 15 came from. Nor do I know how I earn more. I have completed several courses in Scholistico so I don’t think you earn any from that. It would be nice to know more about them from Scholistico staff.
It would be nice if it was explained in a FAQ or HELP TOPIC.

You get 10 points for each section you fill out on your profile.

Read the Gamification info but still confused… doesn’t seem to give points as described. I have replied to posts which shows you should get 5 points for, but I still only have the 10 points I received for doing my profile in the beginning.
Also, question… it says 100 points when you complete a course and 50 points for exam, do you get both the 50 points when you take your exam and then 100 after exam which is basically completion of the entire course?

Hi Patty!
I’m Michelle from the Scholistico team.
I wanted to let you know that to earn points, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
– Reply to a topic 10 times
– Comment on a post 10 times
Also, you’ll earn 100 points in completing the course which also include the point for the exam.
Feel free to reach out if you have other questions or concerns.

I feel that I understand the points now. In connecting with group discussions, questions, gaining more knowledge through the modules and putting into practice by connecting with others in the group through what you’ve learnt into being an art therapy practitioner. I hope Iv got it right.
