| Biography |
My name is Tessa Elisabeth. I am a Mixed Media Artist, Teacher, Creator and fellow Human. I began Moon Sluice Art as a passion project and form of self-expression 8 years ago and it is ever growing and changing alongside my own evolution.I currently teach an Elementary Expressive Arts Program throughout San Diego. I received a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs in 2017, and a 200 Hour Trauma Sensitive Movement Training Certification in Veracruz, Mexico in 2020.I believe an image holds the power to shift the perception of an individual, therefore having a knock-on effect on the outer manifestation of the collective consciousness. Woven in the fabric of my art and classes that I teach are hidden archetypes and symbolism for the seeker to uncover. It is the hope and intention for my work to hold a wide array of perspectives, and to awaken a sense of wonder in the viewer. I create the world as I see it, sometimes feel it, and often wish it to be.I am convinced that there is a creator in every one of us, and we are all collectively weaving the world we live in. If this is the case, then the world will become whatever we believe it, and collaboratively create it to be.If the world is what I dream, then I dream of a beautiful world filled with Color & Magic ✨
