Biography
| Biography | I come from a good family that had its issues. As a child our mornings started with breakfast & a handful of vitamins. My father was very into vitamins. I thank him for that. He left a lot of his books behind & they are part of my collection. I’ve been told over the years that there was a great grandmother who gathered herbs & healed people. They called her a “mountain witch”. Maybe thats where my interest comes from. With the good was bad. Domestic Violence was part of my homelife. As I became older & dated it became part of my life. It no longer is. I was married once. It will not happen again. I’ve been proudly single for 8 yrs now. I’m not sure what exactly is supposed to go into this biography. I’m shortening up the details due to its lengthy & somewhat interesting storyline. I came back to WV after my divorce & began a new life in Peer Support. That lasted a couple of years. I fell & fractured my neck, lost my job & my home. I had to move in with my mother. My vehicle broke down & had to be sold, my dog of 14 yrs passed away & then my mother had a heart attack. Her health never became better. She refused to do her physical therapy or take care of herself. She passed away at 88 yrs old. Its had an effect on me mentally, physically & emotionally. Grief is a crazy part of living. My life with her became about her. I became lost after her death & I still kind of am. I changed after my divorce. I changed when I had to move in with my mother. I changed when I became her caretaker & now, I’m changing again. Changes happen in life. I lost who I was after my marriage ended. Found a new version of myself. Now I’m finding this next new version of who I am. I’m a fighter. A Survivor. A warrior. A strong woman. Thats who I am. |
