Biography

Biography

Dr. Jacqueline Smith-Ratliff is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, educator, clinical supervisor, and holistic wellness learner with a deep passion for healing, emotional wellness, and personal transformation. She holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology and has spent many years supporting individuals, families, students, and clinicians through trauma-informed care, education, leadership, and mental health services.

Jacqueline’s interest in sound therapy grew from her own personal experience of finding peace, emotional release, and spiritual grounding through sound. As an audio learner and deeply reflective person, she has found that sound has the ability to quiet the mind, soften the body, and create space for healing in ways that words alone cannot always reach.

Her approach to wellness is rooted in faith, curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person’s unique healing journey. Through her sound therapy training, Jacqueline hopes to expand her ability to create calming, restorative, and nurturing spaces where others can reconnect with themselves, process emotions, and experience peace.

She is especially drawn to the integration of clinical knowledge, spiritual reflection, and holistic practices. Jacqueline believes healing is not one-dimensional, but often happens through the mind, body, spirit, and nervous system working together. Her goal is to continue learning and eventually incorporate sound therapy into her work in a thoughtful, ethical, and heart-centered way.
