I am a 55 year old, mother of two and grandmother. I have almost 17 years in the field of social work. My mother passed when I was 29 years old from complications of heart disease and diabetes. My father passed away seven years after my mother in a car incident. My oldest brother passed away 3 years ago from lung cancer and my husband passed 7 months later with stomach lining cancer. This lead me to a journey of my own health and researching living a healthier and more peaceful living. I ran across Scholistico on Facebook. After researching more, I decided to take this certification. More so for myself and to teach others.
